Counselling Services

Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes we have a major challenge that gets in our way, or sometimes a bunch of small things build up until we feel worn out, anxious, or frustrated. At still other times, people feel like they’re handling life quite well overall, but would like some additional ideas, strategies or feedback to keep them going in the right direction.

Counselling can provide a place to work through these things together. I am a firm believer that people have more strengths and solutions than they realize, and it's my privilege to work with them to discover those things. Some of the issues I work with include:

  • Anxiety, worry, or feeling overwhelmed
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Assertiveness and Boundaries
  • Relationship challenges
  • Academic and workplace stress (including performance issues like perfectionism, motivation, and procrastination)
  • Retirement and other Life transitions
  • Grief and loss, including bereavement
  • Health concerns
  • Depression and sadness
